Real Madrid begin their 2026-27 EuroLeague campaign with a trip to Coca-Cola Arena to face Dubai on Thursday. Los Blancos have won three of their last four competitive games, making them strong favorites here against a Dubai side with a 1–3 record in their last four competitive outings. This is why our prediction backs Real Madrid against the hosts. 

Dubai finished last season's EuroLeague campaign with a 19–19 record, just outside the playoff places and failing to qualify for postseason action. They will look to make a strong start while targeting an improved campaign this season.

Notably, Xavi Pascual's men dropped two of their four preparatory games and entered this contest off the back of consecutive defeats in the just-concluded EuroLeague Super Cup that saw them finish fourth. They have also lost three of their last four competitive fixtures, dating back to last season.

Real Madrid narrowly fell short of what would have been a 12th EuroLeague title last season, losing by seven points to Olympiacos in the final. Interestingly, Los Blancos made fines for that loss on Saturday by defeating the defending champions 93–89 to clinch the maiden EuroLeague Super Cup title. 

Saturday's success saw the Spanish giants sweep their last four games, including two preparatory friends. They have now won three of their last four competitive dating fixtures back to last season.
