Bayern Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt Prediction & Betting Tips - Bundesliga
by Steve Ashfield | in Bundesliga Prediction
Defending champions Bayern Munich begin the weekend in second place in the Bundesliga. They host unbeaten Eintracht Frankfurt who are fourth and a point behind Bayern. The home side have won three of their four league games this season. The other was a heavy 4-1 loss away to Hoffenheim in their second Bundesliga fixture. Bayern had begun the defence of their title with an 8-0 home thrashing of Schalke 04. They have recovered well from that away loss that ended their long unbeaten run. A 4-3 home win over Hertha Berlin followed with all their goals scored by the prolific Lewandowski. His final strike was a 92nd minute winner. Their last fixture saw Bayern win 4-1 at Union Berlin. Two more from Lewandowski, making it seven in four league games and six in the last two. Bayern continued their good form in the Champions League on Wednesday evening. The defending champions beat Atletico Madrid 4-0 at home, though Lewandowski failed to get on the scoresheet.
Bayern have won each of their last eight home league games and 11 of the last 12. That includes a 5-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in May. This isn’t a happy hunting ground for Frankfurt. They have conceded 17 goals in their last four league visits to Bayern. Not since 2007 have they came away from Bayern with a point with one heavy loss after another since then. Last season was a difficult one for Frankfurt and they were nearly dragged into a relegation battle. Form picked up post lockdown with 17 points from their last ten league games. That good run saw them finish ninth in the table, only four points off the Europa League places. They come into this match unbeaten in the league this season. Their first game of the season saw them having to come from behind to get a home point against newly-promoted Arminia Bielefeld. Wins over Hertha Berlin and Hoffenheim followed, before a draw at FC Koln. Frankfurt haven’t kept a clean sheet this season which isn’t promising when your next game is away at Bayern. They are unbeaten in their last six away league games since the 5-2 loss to Bayern in May. That record looks like ending here

Our Bayern Munich vs Eintracht Frankfurt Prediction
Bayern Munich are on the march again and that's bad news for the rest of the Bundesliga. They had that shock away loss at Hoffenheim but have been in scorching form since then with win after win and goal after goal. Eintracht Frankfurt have made a good start to the season, following up the run of results they had post lockdown. They have a terrible record against Bayern (as does most of the Bundesliga) and the tip here is for Bayern to win and to be leading at half and full time.
