Barcelona begin the weekend top of La Liga and with a game in hand on second placed Real Madrid. They look to stay in first place with a home game against Celta Vigo who only have two clubs below them in the table. It's tight in La Liga this season with only three points covering the top seven teams, though the top two have played that game less. Barcelona haven't had it all their own way this week. They lost 3-1 at Levante last weekend and were then held to a home goalless draw in the Champions League by Slavia Prague. Barcelona have won all five of their home league games this season with 21 goals scored. That's extended their unbeaten home league run to 17 games and only twice have they failed to score at least twice. They have a good record against Celta Vigo with three wins in the last four home league games with 15 goals scored.

It's been a difficult start to the season for the visitors. They are in the bottom three with only nine points from 12 games and two from safety. Scoring is a problem with only six league goals so far, the joint worst record in La Liga. Their last four league games have all been lost with just one goal scored. Away form is a problem with no wins in five games. Two have been drawn but they have only managed to score two and conceded seven. They have been poor on the road for a fair while with no league wins in their last 17 away matches. CThis looks an ideal opportunity for Barcelona to get back into winning ways. Go for them to win and be ahead at both half and full time.
