Ginebra and TNT lock horns in Game 5 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Final on Friday. With the series tied at 2–2, the winner stands a chance of moving within one win of claiming the title. After trailing 2–1, TNT Tropang 5G bounced back to level this series on Wednesday. A 10-point third-quarter lead proved decisive as Katropa rallied from three points down at halftime to win 106–98.
Jordan Heading scored a team-high 29 points, including an impressive 5–of–7 shooting from beyond the arc, to seal the victory for TNT. Chris McCullough continued his impressive performances for the team, adding 24 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.
Despite being on the losing side, Justin Brownlee poured in a game-high 32 points with RJ Abarrientos adding 21 for Ginebra.
