We head to the State Farm Arena, where the Atlanta Hawks will be playing host to the LA Clippers in the NBA tonight. The Hawks (13-9) are seventh in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Clippers (5-16) are 14th in the West. Let’s get into the match prediction.

Following impressive victories over the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers, the Atlanta Hawks came up agonisingly short (99-98) against the high-flying Pistons on Monday night. 

Still, there is a lot to be optimistic about for Hawks fans, given their side are 11-6 without their star player Trae Young. Jalen Johnson has stepped up in a big way in Young’s absence and has averaged 33 PPG in his last three games.

Additionally, Atlanta have been moving the ball far better without Young and lead the league in assists per game. They are also better on defence, eighth in defensive rating and fifth in steals. 

Meanwhile, the LA Clippers have been one of the biggest disappointments this season and enter this match on a five-game losing streak after getting hammered 140-123 by the Heat. 

Kawhi Leonard has played the last five games and scored 30+ points in each of the last three, but that has been negated by a drop in output by James Harden, who only managed 11 points against Miami. 

LA lost to this opponent 105-102 earlier this season. They are without Bogdan Bogdanovic, Bradley Beal and Derrick Jones Jr. Jordan Miller is a doubt.
