Aston Villa face Nottingham Forest on Saturday as two former Champions League winners clash at Villa Park. The home side lie fourth in the table, having leapfrogged Spurs at the weekend following their 2-1 win away to Fulham. Ollie Watkins was the hero netting a double in the game, moving him onto 13 Premier League goals for the season. After two successive goalless draws against Everton and then Chelsea in the FA Cup, the next five Villa games have seen a total of 19 goals scored, with both teams scoring in four of those matches, though Villa have won just the two games in that run - both on the road. With three home defeats in succession, two in the league against Newcastle and Manchester United and a loss to Chelsea in the FA Cup, Villa fans will be expecting a much better performance and improved result against Forest at the weekend.

With the threat of a potential Financial Fair Play points penalty hanging over the team, the team from the City Ground badly need to pick up more points. They can point to a 2-0 win over Villa back on the 5th November Ola Aina and Oriel Mangala scoring the goals. This game is going to be a tough task for Forest, even given Villa's issues at home in the last three games.
