Arsenal play their first home game under new manager Mikel Arteta and are 11th in the table. That's eight points behind the final Champions League place currently held by their opponents Chelsea. A win for the Gunners would keep alive their hopes of Champions League football next season. However, a loss would take them 11 points behind and most likely needing to win the Europa League to get into Europe's top club competition. Boxing Day saw Arsenal come from behind to get a draw at Bournemouth to follow up the away stalemate at Everton. Arsenal have only won 11 league games and at home have gone five without a win, losing the last two. Will Arteta be able to get them going again, particularly at the Emirates?

Chelsea surprisingly lost at home to Southampton on Boxing Day. That left them in fourth but only three points ahead of Tottenham in fifth. They might actually prefer playing away from home at the moment. Form at Stamford Bridge is poor with three defeats in the last four. Away from home though, Chelsea have lost two of the last three but have won six out of nine altogether. It's a puzzle how they can dominate Tottenham but then lose to Southampton. This isn't easy to predict but a bet on both teams to score looks like being a winner.
