Leicester City travel to Greece for a Europa League match with AEK Athens at the Olympiako Stadio Spyros Louis on Thursday night. The visitors arrive in a commanding position after matchday one thanks to a 3-0 home win over Zorya that propelled them to the top of the group. Meanwhile, AEK suffered a defeat by the same scoreline at Sporting Braga. They could at least console themselves with a return to winning ways at the weekend, picking up a 1-0 victory at PAS Giannina in the league. It brought a run of three games without a win to an end. Leicester also followed up their European exploits with a 1-0 away victory, their opponents, Arsenal, being slightly more prestigious than AEK's. Leicester were two goals ahead at the break in their last UEL outing but will probably find the going tougher this time around. AEK are unbeaten in seven of their last eight UEL games at home, taking points from AC Milan among others. Yet Leicester have recently shown skill at navigating trips thought to be difficult with ease. They have three wins on the trot away from home, including a stunning 5-2 victory at Manchester City. AEK are unbeaten in their last three home matches. However, only one clean sheet in their last five home matches is an inviting stat for Leicester's forwards.

It is likely that Brendan Rodgers will rotate his line-up, allowing critics to assess the Foxes' strength in depth. AEK would be happy with a point and we foresee them defending deep. Five of their last seven home UEL fixtures have ended level. We still think Leicester should edge this but only by the odd goal. Back Leicester to win 1-0.
