Liverpool have had complete dominance in Group B of the Champions League and will be looking to finish on a high when they travel to Italy to face Milan. Going to this game, Liverpool top the group with 15 points, 11 ahead of third placed Milan. Milan managed their first win in the group in their last game, an away victory at Atletico Madrid and here they have all to play for. They will be hoping Porto drops points against Atletico in the other game, for them to finish second. Milan have improved in their recent matches; heading to this game, they have two straight wins and three clean sheets in the last four matches. They have all to play for here and have been scoring quite well lately so we expect this trend to continue. Three of their last five matches have produced over 2.5 goals. This season, they’ve failed to score in one of their five Champions League games, but they have only one clean sheet, with both sides scoring in three of the five.

Liverpool needed a last minute goal to beat Watford in their last game. Divock Origi’s strike granted Liverpool a fifth straight win and the 1-0 win swerved their fourth clean sheet in five matches. They have nothing much to play for in this group and with a tough run of fixtures coming in December, we expect Jurgen Klopp to rest most of his star players. The Reds still have a formidable team even with top players rested and we expect them to fight for three points.
