AC Milan look to finish off an impressive end to the campaign in style when they host Cagliari at the San Siro in the final round of the Serie A season. Milan are sixth in the table, a spot they can feel secure about as they are four points clear of nearest challengers Napoli. AS Roma, in fifth, cannot be caught by Milan as there is also a gap of four points between the teams. However, the objective for Milan was to qualify for Europe this season and they have achieved this goal. Cagliari, 14th in the table, have comfortably avoided relegation trouble and could even finish in the top ten with a win here and other results going their way; winning at Milan has never been Cagliari's strong suit though. The Sardinian club have lost their last 14 matches away to AC Milan. Venue aside, Milan are unbeaten in five matches against Cagliari, winning four of those encounters. One of those victories came earlier in the season, when Milan won the reverse fixture 2-0. Unbeaten in their last 11 matches in the league, Milan's form has been sensational since returning from the lockdown. They have scored at least two goals in ten of those eleven matches.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been particularly good in recent weeks, scoring five goals and providing two assists in his last four matches. If we're talking goals then it's worth pointing out that no Milan player has scored more than Cagliari's Joao Pedro. The Brazilian attacker has 18 goals in the league this season, the fifth-best record in the division. Whether he'll add to his tally against Milan is another issue altogether, especially given Cagliari's recent away form. They have failed to win five of their last six matches on the road. Meanwhile, Milan have won four of their last five home matches. The Rossoneri have been ahead at half-time and full-time in eight of their last nine matches against Cagliari. Back them to repeat that trick on Saturday.
