Aberdeen start this game in second place but a rather distant one. They are seven points adrift and played a game more. Defeat here would virtually end their title hunt, not that they are going to win it anyways. The second placed side suffered a bad defeat at Hamilton on Tuesday but that ended a run of six straight league and cup wins. It's a bit different beating most sides in Scotland and then facing Celtic. The two sides met earlier in the season and Celtic won 4-1 at home. Celtic have won eight and drawn one of their nine league games, the only side managing to get a point against them being Inverness Caledonian Thistle back in September. Since then they have won six games in a row against Scottish sides (it's not such a happy story in the Champions League) with 16 goals scored and just one conceded. An away win for Celtic is the logical bet in this game.
