Premier League Darts 2026: Littler stumbles as Jonny Clayton takes pole in Glasgow

Clayton storms to victory on Premier League Night 3
Night 3 of the 2026 Premier League Darts season was another thrilling spectacle, with Jonny Clayton producing one of the best performances we’ve seen from him in a long while, as he romped to victory in Glasgow by beating Gian van Veen in the final.
The Welshman started the night by defeating his compatriot Gerwyn Price 6-3 in the quarter-final before pulling off one of the upsets of the tournament so far, thrashing world number one Luke Littler 6-1 in the semi-final, where he averaged 101.33.
Clayton then stormed to a 6-2 victory over Van Veen, who had beaten Luke Humphries 6-5 in the semis, and in doing so, the Ferret moved to the top of the league standings with nine points. Following his victory, the 2021 champion said:
“I felt good tonight, didn't expect the 6-1 against Luke I have to be honest, but I felt good and my darts were going, when your finishing is good the confidence goes up and tonight was my night. I'm enjoying myself, when you enjoy what you're doing things seem to happen.”
As it stands, the reigning Premier League champion Luke Humphries and World champion Luke Littler are outside the playoff places in fifth and sixth, respectively. The Nuke was handed a walkover last night after Michael van Gerwen pulled out due to illness.
Stephen Bunting and debutant Josh Rock are at the bottom of the leaderboard and have yet to register a point in the competition. Bunting took until week nine to get off the mark last year, while Rock will be hoping to maximise home support next week when the Prem heads to Belfast.
