The Premier league is back this weekend. Last year we had an exciting season and this season will exceed its expectations again. Chelsea were too strong for everyone as they went on to win the league by 7 points.

Tottenham were not far behind with Manchester city and Liverpool a good bit behind in third and fourth place. Hull, Middlesbrough and Sunderland are wiped out into the second division as the premier league gets tougher and tougher every year. Who will lift the trophy? Who will be relegated? Read on to see what the experts think

Kane Tottenham

Who will make the drop?

Brighton, the newcomers are favourites to be relegated first. They have done well to get here and will be delighted with that but with a quiet summer transfer window it will be hard to see the Seagulls to stay in the biggest league. The neutrals will hope we are wrong as Brighton will be a great place to watch premier league football. Premier league newcomers Huddersfield town are also looking likely to fall. They had such a lucky season last year to make promotion, coming 5th in the league and beating poor Reading in the playoff final. They’ve had a few singings at the start of the transfer window but nobody big to keep them up. It will be a big fight between them and Watford, who we think will finally fall. They had a good run in the premier league but by just scraping the drop by inches last season they needed much improvement and fresh singings. Now they have a new manager, Marco Silva who managed Hull city last season and was relegated. They have signed Chalobah from Chelsea and Will Hughes from Derby. We think this will not be enough for the Hornets and this could be Silva’s second relegation in a row.

Who can take the European spots?

Chelsea Premier League

With Arsenal out of the champions league for this season, they will be confident that they can reach one of the top four sports. We are predicting it will be a fight between them and Liverpool making the 4th spot but Tottenham coming out on top to overcome them. Manchester united, city and Chelsea are favourites for the top of the table. Arsenal have managed to keep Alexis Sanchez and it is looking likely that the star of Chile will sign another contract with the gunners and they have brought in Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon. Liverpool have brought in Mohamed Salah from Roma but it is looking likely that Philippe Coutinho may move to the La Liga giants Barcelona. We are predicting Liverpool to take 6th place with Everton just behind. We wouldn’t be surprised if Everton can do better with new signings that should be key like Wayne Rooney and Jordan Pickford.

Aguero City

Who are favourites to win?

Arsenal Premier League

Chelsea breezed past their rivals last season but will find it tough for that to happen again now that they are back in Europe. Manchester city have spent big this season and are back again to be favourites with new arrivals like Danilo from Real Madrid, Benjamin Mendy from Monaco and Kyle Walker from Tottenham. You can bet on City to win on Bet365 at 9/5. Manchester United and Chelsea are equal pairs to win the league at 7/2.

Who can surprise?

Everton have been busy in the transfer market signing big players and they could have a chance in doing very well. But people will feel they won't have what it takes to be one of the best without a key striker now that Lukaku has left for United. West Ham are also likely to do well signing Joe Hart in goals who will surely tighten up their defence and with their poor amount of goals scored last season they have signed Javier Hernandez to hopefully solve that problem. They could be up there with a European finish.
