Manchester United takes on Ajax in the final of the Europa League this week. The Red Devils have missed out on a top four finish and this is their only chance of getting back into the Champions League for next season.

Jose Mourinho fielded a weakened lineup in the last two matches and the first team stars should be fresh for Wednesday's final.

On paper, the Old Trafford outfit are a much better side and this should be a comfortable win for them. Defensively they have been excellent all season and despite the absence of Ibrahimovic, the likes of Rashford and Martial are good enough to find a way past Ajax's resistance.

Meanwhile, Ajax have had a poor end to their domestic season and will be lacking in confidence here. They have the quality to upset the odds here but it will be a massive challenge.

Here are a few betting tips ahead of the Europa League final between Ajax and Manchester United

Another defensive master class from Jose Mourinho?

Manchester United have been very well organised at the back and there have been less than 2.5 goals scored in their last seven matches in the Europa League. They will be cautious in the final as well and a low scoring tie seems quite likely.

Winning experience

Manchester United are unbeaten in their last 10 Europa League games. Jose Mourinho's men are very hard to beat because of their defensive organisation. They have performed better than Ajax in the last few weeks and will be firm favourites to win here.

Furthermore, Mourinho has won 11 cup finals in his managerial career. He has lost just 2 finals during his time as a football manager. The Portuguese manager has the experience when it comes to getting results. On the other hand, Peter Bosz has only won two competitions in his managerial career.

Attacking talents galore

Manchester United have conceded just eight goals in the Europa League this season as compared to the seventeen shipped by Ajax. The Dutch giants need to improve in that department or it could be their undoing at Stockholm.

Having said that, Ajax have plenty of goalscorers in their side and they should be able to find a way past Manchester United in the absence of Eric Bailly.

Manchester United have the likes of Martial and Rashford as well.

Another draw for Manchester United?

Manchester United have drawn 17 times this season. And that is enough evidence to suggest that this one could go down to the wire as well.
