Bayern vs BVB: Der Klassiker to shape Bundesliga title race
The Allianz Arena will light up this evening as the Bundesliga’s top two teams prepare to face off in the 138th edition of Der Klassiker, and you can check out our Bayern Munich vs. Borussia Dortmund prediction ahead of kickoff for all the key stats.
These two giants of Germany currently hold the two longest unbeaten records across Europe’s top five leagues, with Bayern entering this clash of the heavyweights undefeated in 15 Bundesliga games, while BVB have not suffered a top-flight loss in their last 14.
Vincent Kompany's side have been incredible this term, having won all six league games on the bounce, which is their best start to a league season in a decade. They have also won all 10 of their matches across all competitions - a feat they last managed in 1965!
The Bavarians are understandably the clear favourites in this one, as they have been rampant over the early stages of the season. They have scored 25 goals - their highest tally ever after six league games - including netting 3+ in each match to date.
One of the key on-field clashes to look forward to will be Harry Kane vs. Serhou Guirassy. England’s captain has already smashed in 11 league goals, including two hat-tricks this term, while he also bagged a brace for the Three Lions against Latvia last week.
Aside from Kane and Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid, no other player in Europe’s top five leagues has scored as many goals as Guirassy (32) in 2025, and with four league goals this season, the Guinea international has been responsible for a third of BVB’s attacking output in this campaign.

Roma vs. Inter: Serie A giants seek Scudetto momentum

After a short intermission following the battle in Bavaria, our attention will swiftly shift to Italy’s capital, where Roma and Inter Milan will step out in front of a packed Stadio Olimpico to face off in the match of the day in Serie A.
According to our Roma vs Inter Milan prediction, our experts are expecting another tight and tactical battle between these Italian heavyweights, after both league matches between them were decided by 1-0 scorelines last season.
Roma look rejuvenated under the guidance of Gian Piero Gasperini this season, currently on 15 points after six games, and they could move to the top of the table this weekend if Napoli fluff their lines at Olimpico di Torino earlier in the day.
However, while there has been plenty to like about I Giallorossi this term, especially their defensive solidity (2 goals conceded this season), this is by far their toughest assignment to date, having only faced one team placed above 13th in the league standings after six games.
Inter Milan, meanwhile, endured a difficult start to their league campaign under Cristian Chivu, losing two of their first three matches, but they rattled off five wins across all competitions heading into the October international break and will be looking to continue that momentum here.
I Nerazzurri have enjoyed greater success in this fixture, having not tasted defeat at Stadio Olimpico in their last eight visits dating back to 2016, with five of those matches ending in victory, including each of the last four.
