November is going to be a great month for football fans. The first weekend sees some great games being played around Europe. We reckon you can't wait to see PSG take on Montpellier, Borussia Dortmund host Bayern Munich, Arsenal travel to Newcastle and Fiorentina try to defeat Juventus. Let's take a look at these four great matches.

Arsenal Bid to Go Top of Premier League

Arsenal striker

Arsenal have again made an impressive start to a Premier League season. The weekend begins with them in second place, a couple of points behind leaders Tottenham. Now that's good and bad news for Gunners fans. Second place and being unbeaten is great but still being behind their North London rivals is not such good news. Some more  goals from last weekend's hat-trick hero Eddie Nketiah (above) will help them.

Saturday November 4 sees them travel to Newcastle United. With Tottenham not playing until Monday (at home to Chelsea), a win for Arsenal will take them to the top of the Premier League. Arsenal have won seven of their ten league games but six have been played at the Emirates. They need to pile up the points on the road too. That's been happening too with three of their four games being won, albeit against not the strongest of opposition.

Newcastle United will be a tougher task than Crystal Palace, Everton, Bournemouth and Chelsea. United are in sixth place at present but they are five points adrift of fifth placed Aston Villa. That's a gap they can't allow to get any wider if they want another season in the Champions League, so this is a vital game for both clubs and one you can't miss. Goals Galore for Bayern?

Bayern Munich forwardAnyone betting on a team winning 8-0 would expect a HT/FT wager to be a winner. That wasn't the case when Bayern Munich demolished Darmstadt 8-0 last weekend as it was goalless at the break, Leroy Sane (above) and Harry Kane helped Bayern to another impressive win.

Bayern come into this November 4 game at Borussia Dortmund in second place, two points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen. The table toppers are at Hoffenheim earlier in the day, so Bayern could come into this game five points adrift.  Even more dangerous for them is the fact that Borussia Dortmund can go ahead of them if they win this match.

Both sides are unbeaten in the Bundesliga this season. Dortmund will be out for revenge after narrowly missing out on winning the title last season. Their unbeaten record was in danger last weekend as they went 2-0 down at Eintracht Frankfurt but came home with a 3-3 draw. If they want to win the Bundesliga title, this is a game they dare not lose.

PSG Back in Form

PSG forwardFor a change, PSG are not top of Ligue 1  Friday November 3 sees the defending champions at home to Montpellier and a win will take them above current leaders Nice.

PSG are only a point behind Nice who host Rennes on Sunday November 5. They started the season slowly with only three of their first seven Ligue 1 games won and a 4-1 loss at Newcastle United in the Champions League. Since that defeat in England, PSG have turned their season around with four wins and scoring three goals in each victory.

Kylian Mbappe is in top form with four goals in his last three matches. He'll be confident of more against Montpellier on Friday. The away side are 11th in the table, 11 points behind PSG but with a game in hand. Only PSG and Monaco have scored more away league goals than Montpellier this season so don't be expecting a bore draw on Friday. Check out all the prices on our Football Odds..

Fiorentina Need to End Slump in Form

fiorentina footballer

There should be plenty of fireworks on Sunday November 5 as Juventus travel to Fiorentina. The Old Lady begin the weekend in second place, two points behind Serie A leaders Inter who have a tough game at Atalanta the day before. It's possible therefore that Juve could go top of the table if they beat Fiorentina.

Without European fixtures to play this term, Juventus can concentrate on Serie A. Their only league loss has been at Sassuolo where they were beaten 4-2. That was a rare high scoring game for them with seven out of ten this season having under 2.5 goals scored in them. All five played since that loss at Sassuolo have seen that stat come up.

Fiorentina are sixth in Serie A and six points behind their opponents. They come into this game looking to avoid a third successive league defeat. Monday saw them lose 1-0 at Lazio with the winner being a 95th minute penalty. That followed a shock 2-0 defeat by Empoli. A win over Juventus might just see them climb into the top four and they'd been unbeaten in 11 home league fixtures before that Empoli defeat. They'll hope Nicolas Gonzalez (above) returns to scoring form

This is just another fascinating game in European football this weekend. We look certain to have a real football feast this weekend. Remember you will be able to read our highly researched experts' betting tips.
