Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to face Liverpool for the third time in 2023, this time in a Premier League game at the Molineux. Hosts Wolves go into this match with 17 points, in 17th place while Liverpool are ninth on 29 points. Wolves are outside the relegation zone just by goal difference and after failing to beat the Reds in two FA Cup meetings, they will hope to finally get one here. With Everton taking on Arsenal in the early kickoff, Wolves may find themselves in the relegation zone should the Toffees beat the league leaders. A second half collapse in their last game saw Wolves lose 3-0 to Manchester City. They will hope to avoid a repeat in this game. Julen Lopetegui’s side has one win in the last seven matches; they’ve only beaten West Ham United in that period. From a possible 30 points in the last 10 league matches, Wolves have managed to bag just eight. They have one clean sheet in 10 league games and failed to score in four of the 10 matches.
