Fulham and Wigan will put a pause to their league activities as they face off in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday. Read on for our prediction of this match.

For the hosts, Wigan, this is a step up after their third round 2-0 win at Mansfield Town. They get to play a home game for the first time in four in this competition.

In each of the first three they scored twice and will want the same here. Wigan’s home form in this competition hasn’t, however, been very encouraging, losing four times in six, and winning just once.

In their last two League One matches, Wigan are winless, the latest ending 1-1 against Lincoln City.

After thumping Watford 4-1 in the last round, Fulham will be confident of eliminating a side in an even lower league. The Cottagers come into this game straight off a solid performance and 2-1 win away to Newcastle United.

That marked a third win in five matches while Fulham have only lost twice in their last 13 matches. An area that Fulham have prevailed in lately is the attack.

In their last 10 matches, they only failed to score twice, and in the other eight matches, they netted two or more goals. The visitors’ away form is also impressive, they only lost twice in the last 10.
