Fiorentina will look to push their chances of European qualification with a win over Udinese as the sides meet on the last matchday of the 2024/25 Serie A campaign. This match on Sunday at the Stadio Friuli between the 12th-placed Bianconeri and the seventh-placed Viola comes with our prediction of both teams scoring goals.

Udinese have 44 points and are set to finish either 11th or 12th. Fiorentina have 62 points and three points behind sixth-placed Lazio. A win here and favourable results elsewhere will see Fiorentina qualify for the Conference League play-off round.

A 2-0 away defeat at Juventus last weekend was Udinese’s seventh loss in their last nine league games. With their season coming to an end long before this match, it is difficult to see them improving instantly.

Worryingly enough, their form at home has plummeted too, with three defeats and a draw in their last four league games here.

Fiorentina defeated Bologna 3-2 at home last Sunday to give themselves an outside chance of qualifying for Europe. That was much needed in any case, after losing three and drawing one of the four previous competitive games.

Away form needs improvement, though, as Fiorentina lost seven of their last ten away games in all competitions, including three in a row.
