AC Milan and Udinese will both seek to return to winning ways when they face off in the Italian Serie A this Friday. Seven matches remain in the league, and AC Milan are ninth heading into the game, two places ahead of their visitors. We have a prediction for the match.

Udinese are coming from a four-match winless run. This involves three straight defeats in the run up to this match. They seemed to be holding off well against Genoa last time out but conceded a 70th-minute Alessandro Zanoli goal.

That served them a 13th loss in the league this season. Being 15 points off European slots, a mid-table finish seems to be loading for Udinese.

AC Milan are also going through a rough patch and are still in danger of missing out on European football through league position. After 31 matches, the Rossoneri have banked 48 points, which is seven behind the continental football positions.

The visitors can still head to Europe through their Coppa Italia performance if they win the cup. For now, though, they have to keep pushing in the league. Their last three matches produced a loss and two draws.

The latest of them was a 2-2 outcome against Fiorentina, when they came from two goals down. One positive for AC Milan is their scoring form, having netted in 11 straight league games.
