Two sides at opposite ends of the South Africa PSL table are set to clash on Tuesday evening when TS Galaxy play host to Orlando Pirates at the Mbombela Stadium. The Rockets are second-bottom in the league standings, while the Buccaneers are at the summit of the table. Let’s get into the match prediction.
After a very impressive sixth-placed finish last term, TS Galaxy have stumbled out of the blocks this season, managing just a single point from their first four matches of the new campaign.
That sole point came over the weekend when they played out a 1-1 draw to newly promoted Marumo Gallats, who played the majority of the second half with 10 men.
Notably, though, this will be the Rockets’ first home league game of the season, and they were very good on their home patch last season, losing only one of their final nine games during the run-in.
Meanwhile, Orlando Pirates have shot out the gate this season, and are one of only two teams along with Sundowns with a perfect record, though they have played a game more than the Brazilians.
The only blemish on their record this term was a shock defeat to Magesi in the League Cup, though the Buccaneers have still been excellent in attack, scoring two or more in eight of their last 10 games.
On the road, the visitors are unbeaten this season after four matches across all competitions and they also kept three clean sheets during this period.
