Qualifier Terence Atmane has made it through to round four of the Cincinnati Open. He takes on fourth seed Taylor Fritz for a place in the quarter-finals of this outdoor hard court Masters tournament. Time for our match prediction.

Taylor Fritz is fourth in the live rankings but a couple of places lower in the ATP Race. A win over Atmane will see him in a fifth consecutive quarter-final. He's won two singles tournaments in 2025 but on other surfaces.

This week has produced wins over Emilio Nava (also a qualifier) and the 31st seed Lorenzo Sonego. No sets have been dropped by the American but he's had to play 43 games. The winner of this match will play either tenth seed Frances Tiafoe or seventh-seeded Holger Rune.

There's been one previous match between these two players. Fritz won a hard court match in Shanghai but both sets went to a tie-break.

Terence Atmane beat Joao Fonseca in the last round. That's taken the 23-year-old to a career-high 107th in the live rankings. Before this tournament, the only time he'd made it into the main draw of an ATP Tour event was as a lucky loser.

He has also beaten Yoshihito Nishioka and 15th seed Flavio Cobolli this week.
