League Two leaders Swindon Town welcome Grimsby Town to the County Ground on Saturday with both teams very much setting their sites on promotion. Ian Holloway's Robins good form has them leading the chase at present but David Artell's Mariners are not out of the chase in what is proving to be a tight League Two campaign. Here's our prediction for the match.
Currently topping the table, Swindon Town have played 16 matches so far this season and have picked up 30 points so far, topping the table by one point from Walsall. Grimsby Town sit in tenth place having also played 16 games, but they have picked up 25 points, and are just five points behind the leaders.
In terms of current form, Swindon are in great shape. They defeated Rotherham United 2-1 away in the FA Cup First Round and followed that up with a 2-1 win over Tranmere at home. A 4-0 away win over MK Dons in the Football League Trophy followed and then last weekend, they picked up a useful 1-1 draw away to Fleetwood Town.
Grimsby Town come into this game searching for a bit of consistency. They beat Ebbsfleet 3-1 at home in the FA Cup First Round and then Everton U21s 5-3 in the Football League Trophy. But then they were held 2-2 away to Barrow and last weekend ended up on the wrong end of a 1-0 home defeat to Chesterfield.
