With only four points separating Stuttgart and Leipzig, their match on Wednesday in Bundesliga matchday 17 promises to be an entertainer. The MHPArena will see the 7th-placed Die Roten play the 4th-placed Die Roten Bullen, and our prediction is for over 2.5 goals to be produced.

The hosts have 26 points and are two behind the top five, while the visitors have 30 points and are behind third-placed Eintracht only on goal difference. Stuttgart won 1-0 away at Augsburg on Sunday for their fifth win in their last six matches, losing only once.

That loss was at this venue where Stuttgart lost 1-0 to St. Pauli, but three wins from their last five home league games suggest they can push for three points here. Leipzig finds themselves in the middle of a tight tussle for top-four spots, with only two points separating them from Mainz below.
