Brazil and South Korea meet on Friday as both teams start preparing for the 2026 World Cup. This friendly match at the Seoul World Cup Stadium between the Taegeuk Warriors and the Selecao comes with our prediction of both teams scoring goals.
South Korea qualified for their 11th consecutive World Cup, topping Group B in the fourth round of the Asian qualifiers. Brazil weren’t at their best and finished fifth in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers.
Korea showed that they are a tough team to beat on current form, as they drew 2-2 with Mexico and won 2-0 against the USA in the September set of friendlies. Those form part of their impressive run of just one defeat from the last 18 games (W12, D6), including friendlies.
Playing at home could give a big edge, as Korea have won seven of their last 12 matches in home venues (W7, D4, L1).
Carlo Ancelotti is yet to weave his magic on Brazil, who won just two of the four matches under his managerial reign (W2, D1, L1). They were beaten 1-0 away by Bolivia as part of that run, and both those wins have come on home soil.
