Sevilla are chasing back to back La Liga wins for the first time since March 2024, when they host Athletic Bilbao. Six places separate the two sides, with Sevilla sitting 10th and Athletic Bilbao fourth. Below we have a prediction for this match.

Sevilla are enjoying a sense of stability, having gone undefeated in their last four matches. Two of those were wins, including the latest one, 1-0 away to Real Sociedad.

The one frontier they have to overcome is the fact they haven't won at home in their last four matches. The 1-1 draw with Mallorca was their third such result in four home games.

The last time Athletic Bilbao visited Sevilla, they won 2-0 and went on to complete a league double. This season, the reverse fixture ended 1-1 and Athletic will be seeking three points here to boost their top four charge.

Though with a game more, they have a five-point buffer in fourth spot. This has been a good week, as on Thursday they clinched a quarter-final berth in the Europa League courtesy of a 3-1 win against AS Roma.

That ended a run of three winless matches and they will also want to halt a five-game winless run on the road. In their last away league game, Athletic lost 1-0 to Atletico Madrid.
