The Gallagher Premiership resumes on Friday night when Sale Sharks welcome Gloucester Rugby to the Salford Community Stadium. The Sharks tasted defeat for the first time this season when they were sent back to Salford with a painful 45-26 loss away to Saracens last week.

Gloucester found themselves involved in a nail-biting contest this weekend when they were deadlocked at 41 apiece with the Bears, but they managed to edge out a 44-41 win after George Barton converted a 78-minute penalty.
With that result, Gloucester managed to snap up a three-match losing streak on the road and will now look to build on that performance with another victory in Salford this week.
The Cherry Whites have now secured a win and a loss this season, but it must be noted that their defeat came against current unbeaten league leaders Saracens.
