Espanyol will seek to carry their recent positive run to Real Sociedad when they turn up for their next La Liga game. These two clash on Sunday with hosts Sociedad in 11th place, six spots ahead of Espanyol. Predictions for this match point to one with low scores.

Real Sociedad’s last two matches were against Osasuna. After a 2-1 loss in the league match, Sociedad earned their revenge at home in the Copa Del Rey, beating Osasuna 2-0.

Here they will want to build on that win, Real Sociedad having claimed victory in all the last four matches against Espanyol. Four losses in their last six matches, however, could dent their confidence.

Espanyol’s Copa Del Rey campaign ended a while back so they have just the league to worry about.

They scored a big win last week, beating Real Madrid 1-0 in the third of four league games at home. With a four-match unbeaten run, Espanyol will be confident heading into this game.
