Championship leaders Leeds United travel to 17th placed Portsmouth on Sunday. Leeds begin the weekend three points clear at the top and with a far superior goal difference. Can the Whites win on the south coast? Read our match prediction.

United may only be ahead on goal difference by the time this match begins. That will be so if Sheffield United beat Preston North End on Saturday. Leeds are unbeaten in their last 17 league games. They'd won five in a row before last weekend's home draw with West Brom.

Each of their last three away Championship fixtures have been won and nine goals have been scored. Eight away league games have now been won this season with only Middlesbrough scoring more goals on the road.

Portsmouth started the season slowly and the newly-promoted club were in the relegation zone. Pompey have recovered well though and a form guide for the last 20 league games has them in 13th place.

They are now eight points above the relegation zone despite losing 1-0 at Luton in midweek. Before that match they had won their last three league fixtures but all against sides iin the bottom half of the table.
