The final match in Pool B at the 2026 European Championships will see Poland taking on Bulgaria on Wednesday evening. The White and Reds have already beaten this opponent twice this year, and our prediction is that they will add another victory to that tally in this match. 

Poland were the favourites for the title ahead of the 2026 EuroVolley, and they have reinforced that status by winning all four of their matches against Portugal, Israel, North Macedonia and Ukraine. 

Perhaps the most impressive part about the White and Reds’ performance is that they have not dropped a single set in the competition and secured their place in the Final round with two games to spare. 

Poland are on a remarkable 21-match win streak dating back to mid-June. They met this opponent in the Nations League in July and secured a commanding 3-0 victory. 

Meanwhile, after back-to-back straight-set wins to start their campaign, Bulgaria suffered an unexpected defeat to Ukraine in their third match, but bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Israel. 

Like Poland and Ukraine, Bulgaria have already qualified for the Final Round from Pool B. Regardless of the outcome in this match, they will finish the group stage in third place. 

Bulgaria have won seven of their last 10 matches in all competitions, but they have only beaten Poland in one of their last 13 encounters since June 2017.
