English Premier League leaders Liverpool will look for a statement win when they travel to Home Park on Sunday to play Plymouth in the FA Cup fourth round. This match between the Pilgrims and the Reds comes with our prediction of Liverpool scoring in both halves.
Plymouth is at the bottom of the Championship points tally, with four points being their gap to safety. Liverpool, on the other hand, are flying high in the Premier League with a six-point lead at the top and a game in hand.
Plymouth defeated West Brom 2-1 at home last week in the Championship, a timely boost to their hopes of avoiding relegation. That was just their second win across 17 matches in all competitions. This sequence saw them lose eight matches but draw in seven games!
Liverpool thrashed Tottenham 4-0 on Thursday to book a Wembley spot for the Carabao Cup final. That was their fifth win in six matches, each game seeing them score at least two goals. With a chance of moving into the decisive rounds of another tournament, Arne Slot’s men are unlikely to take their foot off the pedal.
If there is a concern for the fans, it’s in their away form, as Liverpool could win just two of their last five matches on the road in all competitions.

Our Plymouth vs Liverpool Prediction
Fresh off a win in the Carabao Cup semi-final, Liverpool are showing no signs of slowing down. They are leading the Premier League title race with a comfortable margin, while they aren’t doing too badly either in the other three competitions. The talk of a quadruple is already gaining traction, but even otherwise, they are favourites to progress through here. The likes of Diogo Jota should fancy showing their worth, and hence goals could flow here. Our Plymouth v Liverpool prediction is Liverpool to score in both halves.
