This is the first meeting between them and the winner will advance to play Heather Watson or Karolina Pliskova next. Ons Jabeur defeated Camila Osorio in the first round by the loss of five games. This was her first appearance on grass this year. The Tunisian is an exceptional grasscourt player and is one of the huge favourites to emerge champion here. Jabeur had a torrid start to the year but seems to have now figured things out. She won just three times in her first 10 appearances but has now improved to 11-10 thanks to a strong clay campaign. The world number 10 has claimed seven of her 11 wins in her last 10 fixtures. She arrived in Nottingham after a run to the quarter-finals at the French Open.
