by Steve Ashfield in Premier League Predictions
Both Nottingham Forest and Arsenal need to bounce back from their weekend defeats. Forest are third in the Premier League, a place and six points behind visitors Arsenal. Can the Reds close the gap with a win? Here's our match prediction.
Forest led at Newcastle on Sunday but then conceded four first half goals. They managed to pull the score back to 4-3 but still came home without a point. With Liverpool winning later in the afternoon, Forest are now 14 points behind the league leaders. Their main aim now seems to be finishing high enough in the table to qualify for next season's Champions League and it'd be a great achievement if they manage to do so.
Arsenal were beaten 1-0 at home by West Ham on Saturday and will begin this game 11 points behind Liverpool. The chances of them winning the Premier League this season now look very slim. Winning this game will boost their chances of again finishing second in the table.

Nottingham Forest - Arsenal: Form Analysis
Nottingham Forest have had an incredible season but come into this game having lost three of their last four league games. Sunday saw them beaten at Newcastle and that has followed defeats by Bournemouth and Fulham.
Forest are glad to be back at home.
All three of those league losses were on the road. Their last home fixture saw Forest thrash Brighton and Hove Albion 7-0. Five of their last six home games in the Premier League have been won, the other a 1-1 draw with leaders Liverpool. Both teams have scored in five of their last eight home league games.
Arsenal's title hopes were dented when they lost 1-0 at home to West Ham. That defeat ended a run of 15 league games without defeat but five draws have seen Liverpool able to extend their lead at the top.
On the road, the Gunners have won seven of their 13 away league games with only two defeats. Their last five away league fixtures have earned them 13 points. Five of the last eight have seen both teams get on the scoresheet.

Nottingham Forest & Arsenal Squad Analysis
Nottingham Forest need to put a halt to their poor run of form. Being back at the City Ground will help them and they have a mainly fit squad. Santo could play a back three in this match and that could work against a depleted Arsenal team.
Chris Wood remains in good form for Forest and has scored five goals in their last three home games. If Arsenal can keep him quiet, then they have a chance of getting a positive result on Wednesday.
Arsenal will be missing key players.
Arsenal will be without Myles Lewis-Skelly for this game. He was sent off on Saturday and this time the red card isn't going to be rescinded. Riccardo Calafiori is expected to retain his position in the starting line-up.
The absence of Lewis-Skelly adds to the problems that Arsenal already have. It's hard enough to get big wins in the Premier League but can they do that with no Jesus, Havertz, Martinelli, Tomiyasu and Saka?
Raheem Sterling isn't setting the world on fire at present and Merino was unable to repeat his recent heroics.
