Nice playing at home in Ligue 1 has always had a positive vibe for their fans, who are set for another treat. This Sunday, third-placed Nice welcomes sixth-placed Lyon to the Allianz Riviera. Below is our preview and prediction for the match.

Elimination from Europe and the French Cup have turned out to be disguised blessings for Nice. They’ve shifted focus to the league and are currently on four straight wins.

Les Aiglons are also firm challengers for the top two, currently trailing Marseille by three points. Home form will come as a major boost for Nice, who have six straight wins there in the league.

Lyon’s time in 2025 hasn’t been stable; they are coming into their 14th match of the year having managed just five wins. Their latest five matches have however had a rhythm, with Les Gones winning four.
