Napoli will look to make it to the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League for the first time hoping to make the most of their advantage from the first leg against Eintracht Frankfurt. The second leg of this tie will be played at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Wednesday. Napoli won the first leg 2-0 with goals from Victor Osimhen and Giovanni Di Lorenzo with Eintracht finishing the game with ten men as Randal Kolo Muani was sent off with a direct red card. Napoli continued their irresistible form with a 2-0 win over Atalanta in their last league match keeping their lead at the top of standings to a whopping 18 points. They have been enjoying their Champions League stint too, winning six of their seven matches so far. The only blemish was a 2-0 loss in Liverpool once their progression was confirmed. This venue has been a fortress for the hosts who have won eight of their last 11 Champions League matches here, including all three this season.

Eintracht Frankfurt would dearly love that form as they come with a huge task of erasing the first leg deficit. Unfortunately for the visitors, their form coming into this game has been very poor with two losses and two draws including a 1-1 result at the weekend that keeps them hanging to the 6th place in Bundesliga. While they still have a chance to turn the tables and qualify, it would require a monumental effort considering their poor scoring record in Europe. Eintracht have scored only seven goals in seven Champions League matches this season and their two wins on the road have come by a one-goal margin. That won’t be enough for the visitors who would need at least a two-margin win to make things interesting in this leg.
