Nantes and Lyon will meet at Stade de la Beaujoire on matchday 19 in Sunday's Ligue 1 clash. Nantes sit in 15th place, while Lyon are sixth in the league standings. Here's our match prediction. 

Head coach Antoine Kombouare has been under pressure in the past weeks as his team Nantes is in disarray in the league standings. 

Kombouare's men are tied on points with St. Etienne occupying the relegation play-off spot. This is the same team they failed to defeat in their recent outing playing out a 1-1 draw on the road.

La Maison Jaune found it difficult to secure wins as that draw stretched their winless run in the league to four matches (D3, L1), during which they dropped points from winning a position on two occasions. 

Lyon was held to a frustrating goalless draw against Istanbul giants Fenerbahce in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday. Despite the result, the team earned qualification to the knockout stages. 

Domestically, though, Les Gones has been behind disappointing results. They are winless in their last three matches across all competitions and that includes an exit in the French Cup against FC Bourgoin-Jallieu. 

Their most recent league match saw them share the spoilers in a goalless draw against Toulouse at home to extend their winless run to two games after a 2-1 away defeat at the hands of Brest.
