Manchester United lost their two friendly matches during the World Cup break but will be looking to bounce back when they return to competitive action, hosting Burnley in the League Cup on Wednesday. United lost 4-2 to Cadiz and Real Betis in the two friendly matches in December and will be looking to pick up from their two straight wins before the World Cup break. In competitive action, United have one loss in 12 matches and will be looking to extend the run against the high-flying Championship side.
