Olympique Lyon have a tough test on their hands when they play host to runaway Ligue 1 leaders PSG in their next game in the French topflight. Lyon go into this game with 13 points, in fifth place and PSG top the standing on 19 points from seven matches. The home team is coming from two straight defeats, most recently a 2-1 loss at the hands of Monaco. Earlier they had suffered a 3-1 loss to Lorient, and they have just one clean sheet in the last five matches. Both their losses were picked away from home, and they will be glad to be back at the Groupama Stadium, which has been more friendly. In their last eight Ligue 1 matches at home, Lyon have registered eight wins. They’ve however failed to beat PSG in the last three meetings. Each of Lyon’s last four matches has produced over 2.5 goals.

PSG are one of the three sides yet to taste defeat in the league this season. They will be hoping to pull clear at the top, with three teams tied at 19 points. Away from home in Ligue 1, PSG are unbeaten in eight, and they’ve won seven of them, while each of the eight games has produced over 2.5 goals. In terms of attack, PSG have once again taken the lead in Ligue 1; they are already on 25 goals, with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe the lead scorers in eight and seven goals respectively.
