Canada have it all to do in this so-called group of death after losing to Australia at the weekend. They lost that match by 108 points to 92 and even though it's likely they will beat Senegal in their final game, it may be too late to qualify unless they can beat Lithuania. Canada trailied by 12 points in that match against Australia but then produced a staggering third quarter scoring 37 points and taking the lead. They couldn't keep the good work up though and lost the final quarter by 17 points to find themselves playing catch-up in this group.

Lithuania are ranked sixth in the world compared to Canada's 23rd. They had an easy win in their first group match with a 101-47 demolition job on Senegal (ranked 37th). The Lithuanians got off to a great start winning the first quarter by 17 points and extended that to 27 at half-time. The lead kept on widening in the second half as they won the match by 54 points. This will of course be a lot tougher but if players such as Mantas Kalnietis can continue the form they showed at the weekend (13 points and 8 assists), then they can win this game against Canada. Go for Lithuania to win on a -7.5 handicap.
