A thumping victory in the Champions League lifted Lille back to winning ways and they seek the same when hosting Saint-Etienne. The two sides clash on matchday 20 of Ligue 1, Lille starting the week in fifth place and Saint-Etienne in 15th. Below we have a prediction for this match.

Lille recovered from their back-to-back defeats in resounding fashion. They are coming from a 6-1 win over Feyenoord in the Champions League, a result that saw them finish in the top eight.

Now attention shifts to the league, where they lost 2-1 at Strasbourg last time out. Addressing their defence may be a priority here, having managed two clean sheets only in the last 10 matches.

Saint-Etienne are winless in their last three matches. They beat Reims 3-1 to start the year on a strong footing but have since gone into a slump.
