Even an away win for Manchester City won't take them into the Champions League places. City are seventh in the Premier League and travel to Leicester who are 18th in the table and in the relegation zone. The Citizens find themselves 14 points behind league leaders Liverpool and already their dreams of winning a fifth successive Premier League title look over. Boxing Day saw them held to a home draw by Everton after losing a lead.

Leicester City showed some initial improvement under new coach Ruud van Nistelrooy but they've taken a few steps back in recent matches. The Foxes also led on Boxing Day but ended up losing 3-1 at Liverpool. They have slipped back into the relegation zone and with a trip to midlands rivals Aston Villa up next for them, it could be a while until they escape the bottom three, unless they get a surprise win here.
