Leeds United will be vying to go eight points clear in the Championship title race when they host West Bromwich Albion. The league leaders face fifth placed West Brom, with the Baggies looking to cement a top six place. Read on for our prediction of this match.

Leeds United showed their title credentials with another late win last time out. They came from a goal down for the second straight game, beating Sheffield United 3-1 on the road.

Getting a win against a fellow title contender boosted their hopes, moving them to 75 points. It was also their fifth straight win in the league and stretched their undefeated run in the Championship to 16 matches.

West Brom have been stuttering in recent times but are coming here from a win in their last outing. Alex Mowatt and Jon Swift scored the goals as the Baggies claimed a 2-0 home win against Oxford United.

That was only their third win in the last 10 matches. With it they managed to cling on to fifth place, a point above seventh place, and nine behind Sunderland, in fourth place.

West Brom have avoided defeat in the last three matches against Leeds United. While they will want to extend that, their performance away from home hasn’t been the best.
