In the upcoming Serie A match, Lecce will host Milan at the Stadio Via del Mare. Currently, Lecce sits in eleventh place in the league standings, while Milan is in third, only behind Juventus on goal difference. Lecce has been in good form recently, following up an impressive victory over Lazio with a 0-0 draw against Spezia. This has further extended their unbeaten streak to five games. They have lost just three of their last twelve league encounters, with two of those losses coming against Juventus and Roma. Lecce is known to be tough to beat on their home turf, having won their last three home games, including triumphs against Atalanta and Lazio. They have only suffered one home loss in eight games, which could pose problems for Milan. Additionally, Lecce has a good record against Milan, having only lost two of the last seven times they hosted the Milan club. Both teams have scored in six of those games, making "both teams to score" a good side bet. 

On the other hand, things are not going well for Milan right now. After conceding two late goals against Roma, they were eliminated from the Coppa Italia by Torino in extra time. They were wasteful in the final third and failed to take their chances. Milan manager Pioli is currently facing a mini crisis, with the team having only secured one win after the Qatar World Cup. Furthermore, they have only managed to keep one clean sheet in their last nine domestic games, and their away form is poor, with just three wins in nine away games. Milan also have a lengthy injury list to contend with, with players such as Florenzi, Ibrahimovic, Maignan, Origi, Kjaer and Rebic out, while they have only won two of their seven visits to Lecce, which could make it a struggle for them in this match.
