Las Palmas will look to get off the mark this Saturday when they host Celta Vigo at the Estadio Gran Canaria in round nine of La Liga. Los Amarillos anchor the league table with just three points while Los Celestes are currently 10th with 10 points after eight matches. Let's get into the match prediction.

La Union Deportiva had hoped to salvage a point last week after leveling the scoreline when away to Villareal, however, they crumbled under the immense pressure that Villareal applied in the last 10 minutes, conceding two goals en route to a 3-1 defeat.

Palmas are experiencing one of their worst starts to the season in recent history, with just three draws and five losses from their eight matches in La Liga this campaign.

On the positive for Pio Pio, though, all three draws have come at home this season, with the side managing to score at least one goal in each of their four matches.

Meanwhile, in Vigo, Iago Aspas came off the bench to be the game-changer for Celta, finding the back of the net in the 81st minute to rescue a point against Girona last week.

Celta have seen their form decline lately though, as after convincing wins in their opening two matches, they have only managed a positive result once more from their last six games (W1, D1, L4).
