Las Palmas will be at home on Saturday against fellow promotion hopefuls Deportivo Alaves on the final day of the Spanish Segunda. Seeking automatic promotion, the two teams are separated only by one point with Las Palmas in second and Alaves in third. Las Palmas occupy the last automatic promotion place to La Liga. They are also one point behind leaders Granada so will also be targeting the title. Las Palmas have spent the last five seasons in the Segunda and are now on the verge of returning back to the topflight. Last season they were eliminated in the playoffs. Garcia Pimienta's charges have been one of the hardest teams to beat and come to this match having lost just six times. This is the joint least tally. What has held them back though is their inability to win matches. They have drawn 17 games and won 18. Los Amarillos drew three of their last five matches. They however come to this match off the back of a 4-1 thumping of Cartagena that consolidated second place for them. The Pio-Pio however haven't won in five straight matches at home with four of those games ending in draws.

Deportivo Alaves will know that a win here will propel them back to La Liga just one season after being demoted. Anything less and they will have to fight three other teams for the last remaining ticket. Luis Garcia's men have amassed 70 points thanks to 19 wins and 13 draws. They come to this match after beating Malaga 2-1 to end a run of three matches without a win. Babazorros El Glorioso also have a realistic chance of ending the season as champions. They will however have to win here first and hope that Granada lose against Leganes. Alaves have also settled for a share of the spoils more often, especially in this title run-in. They drew four of their last seven matches with only two ending in victory. It has been a bit worse for them away from home with only one win from their last six.
