The 14-time champions Juventus have reached the semis after defeating Monza 2-1 and Lazio 1-0. The decorated champions find themselves in 7th spot in Serie A after a 15-point ban, but are just four points behind European spots. It is a decisive 10-day period for the Old Lady who face Inter in this first leg followed by Lazio in Serie A and Sporting in Europa League quarter-final. On a run of five straight competitive wins, Juventus are peaking at the right time perhaps as they look to make it to the finals of Coppa Italia for the fourth season in a row. Playing at home has certainly helped as Juventus have won six of their last seven competitive home games, drawing the other.

Inter also have a European game on the horizon as they wait for the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League. Yet, their recent form is a big worry as their top-four hopes in Serie A are looking bleak. Inter have lost three of their last four competitive matches, drawing the other. All the wins have come by a single goal margin including a defeat to Juventus earlier last month. That is no solace to their away form as the Nerazzurri have failed to score a goal in three of their last four away matches.
