In a jam-packed weekend of Serie A action, our featured match on Sunday will see Fiorentina play Juventus at the Allianz Stadium as they look to reverse a run of underwhelming results in recent weeks. The visitors have slumped to 13th place in the league with 24 points in 21 matches, 14 away from European Cup contention and 10 clear of the drop. After losing against Bologna in their last match, Fiorentina has now gone four matches without a win, including three losses and just one draw. Their away record doesn’t inspire much confidence either, with a record of two wins, three draws, and five losses in ten matches on the road this season. They are winless in their last three consecutive away matches and will find it difficult to end that run against a Juventus side that is very strong on their home patch.

Juventus seem to have put their points docking behind them and are starting to make their way back up the table one match at a time. The hosts have gotten themselves into the top half of the table, in tenth place, with 26 points in 21 matches, 12 points behind AC Milan in sixth. Juventus put on a strong display in their last match, overcoming Salernitana 3-0 to end a three-match winless run that included two losses and a draw. Their home form, though, has been excellent, losing only one of their eleven matches at the Allianz Stadium, along with three draws and seven wins. In the reverse fixture, these sides played out a 1-1 draw, but Juventus will be confident that they can grind out a win in this one in front of their home fans.
