2025 Swiss Open Juan Manuel Cerundolo is the sixth seed for this year's tournament in Gstaad. In round two, he faces unseeded Miomir Kecmanovic for a place in the last eight. Cerundolo has been in good form on all surfaces in recent months and our prediction is he will beat Kecmanovic.
The winner will take on either second seed Casper Ruud or unseeded Jaime Faria next.
Cerundolo was beaten by Alexander Bublik last year in the final of this ATP outdoor clay court tournament. He has won one Challenger Tour title on this surface in 2026 and has reached two ATP Tour quarter-finals. One was on clay in Rio, the other surprisingly on grass in Eastbourne.
The 24-year-old famously beat Jannik Sinner at Roland Garros this year.. He was 45th in the latest rankings, seven places above his opponent. Round one of this tournament saw him beat Zdenek Kolar but he had to come from a set down to do so.

Miomir Kecmanovic was a semi-finalist here three years ago. He has also won one Challenger Tour clay court title this year. His form on the main tour has not been so good though. In round one, he defeated Kilia Feldbausch in three sets.
