Inter Milan vs Juventus Predictions & Betting Tips (Serie A)

Two of Italy’s most famous clubs will face off this Sunday as Juventus make the trip to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza to take on Inter Milan, with both sides aiming to take a step closer to securing European Cup football next season. The visitors have fought their way into seventh place in the Serie A after their points dock earlier in the season, now on 38 points in 26 matches. They are just four points behind Atalanta in sixth, and 10 behind the Champions League places with 12 matches to go this season. After winning their last match 4-2 against Sampdoria, Juventus have recorded five wins in their last six matches and come into this one riding a three-match winning streak in all competitions. Juventus won the reverse fixture 2-0 in November last year and will be quietly confident that they can take another three points in this one. 

Inter Milan, meanwhile, have occupied the second spot in Serie A for the best part of the last three months and are currently on 50 points in 26 matches, 18 points behind Napoli but just one clear of Lazio in third. The hosts suffered a surprise loss in their last match, losing 2-1 to Spezia, which was their second loss in their last six matches, along with three wins and a draw. Inter has been difficult to overcome at home this season, with eleven wins and just two losses in 13 matches at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza this season. This is going to be a close match, but Inter will know that they need to win, as a loss could see them fall all the way to fifth place if other results don’t go their way.
