The Indiana Pacers will welcome the Cleveland Cavaliers for their second meeting of the season in the NBA. Gathering up some steam, Indiana have jumped up to 13th in the Eastern Conference, whereas out-of-form Cleveland have dropped to seventh. Read on to find our prediction for this match.

The Pacers are in their best run of form in what has been a poor season. Rick Carlisle’s men, who have lost 16 of their 20 games, have won back-to-back fixtures for the first time.

This run began with a dominant 33-point home win over fellow strugglers Washington. They would follow this up a day later with a 103-101 win over the Bulls.

The two wins have allowed them to climb out of the bottom of the East standings, and they will hope to maintain this momentum.

On their part, the Cavaliers are coming into this game in their worst run of form this year. Kenny Atkinson’s men have hit a snag, having lost three consecutive games.

This run has seen them lose ground in the race for the top seed as they now sit 4.5 games behind conference leaders Detroit. All three setbacks have come on the road against the Raptors, Hawks, and Celtics.

Against the Celtics, the Cavs were outscored 117-115 for their ninth loss of the season. Cleveland, however, did win the first meeting of the season with Indiana, and this should have them confident here.
